Privacy
Updated October 19, 2026. Covers the website and the Chrome extension.
The short version
Cap Drafter doesn't ask who you are and doesn't collect anything about you. Your league settings and draft picks stay in your own browser.
What stays on your device
League settings, picks and any projections file you upload are saved in your browser's local storage so a refresh doesn't lose your draft. They never leave your device. Clearing your browser's site data, or pressing Reset draft, deletes them.
The website
The website counts visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't identify you. It records pages viewed and rough details such as country and device type, in aggregate.
The Chrome extension
The extension opens the same app in Chrome's side panel. It contains no analytics and sends nothing anywhere. It asks for one permission, the side panel, and doesn't read or change any website you visit, including your draft room.
Feedback
