How Cap Drafter works

Using it in a draft

  1. Set up your league. Yahoo's defaults are filled in. Change the budget, teams, roster spots or categories to match yours.
  2. Put the nominated player on the block. Type his name in the board's search box and press Enter, or click his row.
  3. Bid up to "Bid to". It's what he's worth to your team, capped by the most you can afford.
  4. Log the sale. Enter the price and the team that bought him. Every price updates for the money and spots left.

Disagree with a price? Click any dollar value on the board, or use "My value" on the player's card, to set your own. Everyone else re-prices around it.

Value is the pre-draft price; click one to set your own (* marks yours), and the rest re-price around it. Live re-prices the players left using the money and spots left. Bid to is Live, adjusted up to ±20% for your roster’s category needs (switch this off in League setup), and capped at what you can afford. Category cells are z-scores against the players who get drafted: blue helps, red hurts. Type a nominated player in the search box, or click his row, to put him on the block.
